Conceptual Guide for the Participative Research

A common framework for participative research in local youth policy from a capability perspective

This paper designs a participative research agenda which allows identifying in a participative way what kind of inequalities and disadvantages matter to young people and what kinds of public action should be set up. It is a guideline for reflection on the participatory nature of the research and aims at opening up methodological avenues and raising some reflexive questions about SocIEtY’s research with regard to a conceptualisation of democracy and participation in line with the Capability Approach.
